An investigation has been launched after two brand new speed cameras in Doncaster were vandalised.

The average speed check cameras, located on the A19 in Bentley and Toll Bar, had been installed just days prior, a spokesperson for Doncaster Council said.

The spokesperson appealed for anyone with information to contact the council or the police.

"Keeping our roads safe is a top priority for the council, and we will continue doing everything we can to achieve this," they said.
