A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car crash on an M1 exit slip road.
Police attended a single-vehicle crash on the northbound exit slip road at junction 21A, which leads on to the A46 near Kirby Muxloe, after 03:00 BST on Sunday.
Leicestershire Police said the 19-year-old driver of a white Volkswagen Polo was taken to hospital, where he remained with serious injuries.
The force said no-one else was reported to be in the car and no other injuries had been reported, adding an investigation was ongoing.
Det Con Charlotte Wright, from the force's serious collision investigation unit, said: "We are continuing to establish what has happened and how it has happened and have been speaking to a number of people who were at the scene.
"We continue to appeal for further information from anyone who may have been in the area and has not yet spoken to us.
"Similarly, if you have any dashcam footage, please make contact with us."
The exit slip road was closed for several hours following the crash causing delays, and reopened at about midday.
