Investigation reveals cause of poultry plant fire
- Published
The cause of a recent fire at a poultry plant during the early hours of the morning has now been revealed.
The Suffolk Fire Service said an investigation had confirmed an electrical fault started the blaze in a packaging area at Gressingham Foods, at Redgrave.
Six fire engines were sent to the plant, on the Suffolk-Norfolk border, at about 04:30 BST on Saturday.
When fire crews got there the building, at the Hinderclay Road site, was "well alight". The alarm was raised by a security guard who spotted smoke.
