Line-up revealed for Valley Fest's Arcadia stage

A Bristol festival has revealed artists Don Letts, Badger, Jaguar Skills and OKO will perform on a takeover stage, hosted by Glastonbury icons Arcadia.
Valley Fest, which is held from 1-4 August on an organic farm in Chew Magna near Bristol, is celebrating its 10th birthday.
Headliners include Sophie Ellis-Bexter and Sister Sledge, who will be joined by artists such as rapper Tinie Tempah, The Feeling and The Skids.
Founded by Luke Hasell in 2014, the independent, music and food festival takes place next to Chew Valley Lake.
The Arcadia takeover will be hosted by Save Our Scene, a media and events organisation which advocates for the protection of grassroots music, and homeless charity BillyChip.
As well as DJs, revellers can expect fire performances, immersive dancefloors, plus fire-and-light effects.
The team behind Arcadia - a performance art collective - will entertain crowds with their Lords of Lightning attraction, which will shoot bolts of electricity from their bodies, at different sonic frequencies, creating "music lightning".
The artists will perform on Arcadia's Afterburner on Thursday night.
DJ Don Letts, broadcaster and award-winning film maker, will play some bass-heavy sounds, while Badger, who is known for his adventurous sets, will blend UK garage, bass house, and jungle.
Jaguar Skills is master of the quick mix and Bristol-based artist OKO, who has solidified her name in the drum and bass scene, are also on the Thursday night line-up.
George Fleming from Save our Scene said: “We’re so excited to be part of Valley Fest and take over Arcadia’s Afterburner stage for a night of complete madness.”
The Thursday line-up is not the only new development for 2024 - Back to Mine will also create a new venue.
It will feature DJs such as Dave Lee (JN), DJ Paulette, Lottie, Black Hawks of Panama, Mas Que Nada Bros, Lovers of House, disco and funk.
