Elderly dog given oxygen after house fire
The 15-year-old dog was given oxygen and the man was assessed at the scene by paramedics

An 80-year-old man and his dog have made a full recovery after escaping a house fire.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Porth-Y-Waen, near Oswestry, at 14:31 BST on Tuesday and found both were suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.
The 15-year-old dog was given oxygen and the man was assessed at the scene by paramedics.
The fire service said the fire had broken out in the bedroom.
