What have been the big stories in the West this week?

Somerset Live reported on a millionaire aristocrat who is looking for a wife, external. Sir Benjamin Slade, 79, is on the hunt for a bride 20-years-younger than him, who "must be taller than 5ft 6 inches, have a shotgun licence and not read The Guardian".

And some Bristol City fans are opting for non-league games, with some saying the cost of away tickets is too expensive, external, amid a "backlash" to the ticket prices announced for Coventry away. The Fanbanter website reported fans saying it was "pure greed" and "obscene" to charge £38 for an adult and £28 for a child.

Bristol 24/7 reported on the church "that holds centuries of secrets", external. St John the Baptist Church, also known as St John on the Wall, was once among the four principal gateways into the medieval walled city of Bristol, but now is the only one remaining.
