Double yellow lines approved in Grimsby and Laceby

Double yellow lines, meaning no waiting at any time, are to be painted on roads in Grimsby and Laceby after concerns were raised about parking.
A short section of Laceby High Street will have double yellow lines to improve visibility for vehicles leaving Alfred Bannister Mews.
Restrictions will also be introduced along part of Wybers Way and the end of Timberley Drive in Grimsby after residents and ward councillors raised concerns about parking in the area, particularly by work vans.
Both schemes received multiple objections but were approved by North East Lincolnshire Council.
The new double yellow lines will cover the junction of Laceby High Street with Alfred Bannister Mews and either side of it, on the left-hand side only of the high street.
During a site visit, a road safety officer previously found "a number of issues" with parked vehicles leaving "limited or no visibility" for residents driving out of the Mews.
The double yellow lines on Wybers Way will cover the Timberley Drive side of the road, starting there and ending before the junction with St Nicholas Drive.
The new restrictions come after concerns were raised by ward councillors and residents of poor visibility of oncoming traffic due to vehicles parked on Wybers Way.
The schemes were approved by councillor Stewart Swinburn, North East Lincolnshire Council's portfolio holder for housing, infrastructure and transport, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
