There have been some stunning sunrises across the country this week including this one in Edinburgh. "Lighter nights lead to lovelier sunsets like this one at Newhaven Harbour," said Isobel Irvine.

Duncan Kennedy from Fort William also enjoyed a beautiful sunset recently looking out towards Arisaig and Rum

'Come on in the water's lovely': Graham Charles took this photo while on a trip to see the seals at Newburgh beach.

Keith Morrison was also on seal watch this week. He spotted this slightly "camera shy" one on Shetland.

A good drying day: David Stevenson from Edinburgh sent in this photo he took while visiting Loch Carron.

"A sudden, dense haar covering part of the Forth Rail Bridge which rolled in quickly on an otherwise cloudless week," said Stewart Picken.
