Teenage passenger killed in crash on rural road

A teenage passenger of a car has been killed in a crash on a rural road.

The incident happened at about 21:00 BST on Thursday in Brampton Road, Lower Harlestone, Northamptonshire.

The 18-year-old man was travelling with another person his age when their white Hyundai i20 was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, police said.

The Hyundai passenger was declared dead at the scene and the driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of a black Peugeot 208, a man aged 20, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A silver Vauxhall Agila was the third car involved in the collision.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch.
