A police officer has been charged with two counts of sexual assault in connection with two incidents in Cardiff.
Fiona Anderson, 32, from Alford Crescent, Exeter, appeared before magistrates in Cardiff on Tuesday.
The offences are reported to have taken place in Cardiff in 2018, with Ms Anderson off duty from her role as a PC with Devon and Cornwall Police at the time, the court heard.
She was granted unconditional bail and will next appear at Cardiff Crown Court on 14 October.
Ms Anderson spoke only to confirm her name and address during the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates' Court.
The court heard that she had been suspended from duty since her arrest.
