A motocyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Grimsby, police said.
Officers were called to a collision involving two motorcycles and a Volkswagon on Laceby Road at about 16:40 BST on Friday.
Police said the motorcycles, one orange and the other red and white, were travelling along Broadway towards the junction with Laceby Road, when they are believed to have collided with the grey Volkswagon which was heading east on Laceby Road.
Police said one of the motorcyclists was taken to hospital while the other had reportedly fled the scene on foot, causing a collision with another vehicle.
Officers are trying to establish the exact circumstances of the events leading to the incident.
They are appealing for anyone who saw the motorcyclists or have dashcam footage of the incident, to contact them.
