North East Lincolnshire Council is inviting people to share their views on its flooding strategy

  • Published

A council is inviting members of people to share their views on its flooding measures.

North East Lincolnshire Council has undertaken a review of its flood risk management strategy.

It sets out how the council will work with others to manage the risk of flooding and includes an action plan including short, medium and long-term goals.

As part of the review process, members of the public, wider stakeholders and neighbouring authorities have been asked to share their thoughts via a survey on the council's website.

The consultation period will run for six weeks and ends on 13 December.

The strategy would then be updated where necessary.

The final strategy will be submitted to the council’s cabinet for review before being formally put in place in early 2025.
