A fire that began in a garden has spread to a nearby house in Totnes, firefighters have said.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call at about 14:20 BST, to an end-terrace, semi-detached property in the Pathfields area.

"Our crews remain on scene, working to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties," a spokesperson said.

No injuries have been reported.
