Three more arrests over fatal stabbing in alleyway

Three more men have been arrested after a man was fatally stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.
Thapelo Jali, 21, died on 22 July after being found with serious injuries in an alleyway off Buccleuch Road in Normacot.
Police said they had carried out a number of searches alongside firearms officers in the area as part of the investigation.
Five men charged with Mr Jali's murder are due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 11 October.
On Monday, police said a 35-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 62-year-old man, also from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
In addition, a 27-year-old man from the city was arrested at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of murder.
Det Insp Ian Fitzgerald said: “An increased police presence is expected to remain in the area throughout [Monday] while our inquiries continue.”
