Quad bike rider seriously hurt after crash with car

No arrests have been made following the crash on Malborne Way in Peterborough

A man has been taken to hospital after his quad bike collided with a car in Peterborough.

The incident took place on Malborne Way at about 15:45 BST on Wednesday.

Police said the man, who is in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and remains at Peterborough City Hospital.

The driver of the Fiesta car, a woman in her 40s, was uninjured and has been assisting officers with their inquiries.

No arrests have been made and police have been appealing for witnesses.
