Luton Town keeps same home shirt for new season

A Championship football club has said it will keep the same home shirt for the new season.
In a statement on its website, Luton Town FC said the club's home shirt was being "rolled over for 2024/25".
It said: "Our iconic first ever Premier League Umbro home kit is to get an extended life as we can confirm we will continue to wear our orange 1970s-inspired home kit design."
Clubs usually have a new design every year, but Luton has said it will now only change its home shirt every other season.
The club said it would give supporters the chance to retain shirts for longer and "help with consistency of supply".
The statement added that the home design had "proved to be the best-selling and most popular design in the history of 2020’s custodianship of the club".
Luton Town are back in the Championship for the 2024/25 season after being relegated from the Premier League.
