Two dental practices to close for software update

Two Manx Care run dental practices are set to close for a day while a new software system is installed.
Hillside Dental Practice and the Community Dental Service and will not be open to patients on 10 June.
Manx Care said that shutting the services would allow staff to receive the training required to use the new software system.
The closure meant there would be no routine appointments scheduled or access to the surgeries on the day in person.
A Manx Care spokeswoman said: "In the event of any dental emergencies including severe pain, bleeding or facial swelling, please phone your usual practice if you have one."
People without a regular dentist needing emergency dental care on 10 June should ring the community service for instructions on how to access urgent care, she added.
Manx Care took over the Hillside practice, for an initial 12 months, after its provider handed back its contract in August.
IT issues had previously delayed the takeover of the practice by the health care operator.
