Police have named a 19-year-old woman who was killed in a crash in Perthshire last weekend

Erin Slane, from Perth, was the front seat passenger in a Ford Fiesta that crashed on the B9099 Luncarty to Stanley Road at 02:50 on Sunday.

The driver, a 21-year-old man, and the rear seat passenger, a 19-year-old woman, were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.

The man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences but later released.

Police Scotland Sgt Steve Livesey said: “Our thoughts remain with Erin’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

“Enquiries are continuing into the full circumstances of the crash and we are appealing for anyone with information that may assist us to please get in touch, external."
