Arrest after crash partially blocks key city road

A man has been arrested after a two-car crash partially blocked a main road in Birmingham on Friday morning.
The collision was on the A38 Bristol Road South in Northfield at the junction of Great Stone Road by Northfield Leisure Centre around 06:30 BST.
A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to hospital to be assessed, said West Midlands Police, which is appealing for witnesses.
Two drivers - both men - were treated by West Midlands Ambulance Service, which said one had injuries that were not thought to be serious, while the other sustained minor injuries and was discharged at the scene.
