Murder arrests after man attacked in car park

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was fatally injured in a car park.

Navpreet Singh, 26, died in hospital after he was attacked by a group in the car park off Dudley Road, in Wolverhampton, at about 23:30 BST on Tuesday.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday morning and remains in custody, West Midlands Police said.

Two other men, aged 23 and 34, were also arrested on suspicion of murder and have since been bailed pending further inquiries, the force added.

A police cordon at the scene has now been lifted, but officers are continuing to maintain an increased presence in the area.

The force has appealed for anyone with information who may be able to assist the investigation, to come forward.

A dedicated online portal, external has also been set up to allow people to send information, pictures or video, directly to investigating officers.
