A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have died and two others are in hospital following a crash in Carmarthenshire.

Dyfed-Powys Police said two vehicles - a black Jaguar and a black Ford Fiesta - were involved in the incident at about 16:00 BST on Thursday.

The cars collided on the A477 between Llanddowror and Red Roses, as the Jaguar was travelling westbound towards Pembrokeshire and the Fiesta was travelling in the opposite direction.

The two people, aged 27 and 33, who were taken to hospital do not have life-threatening injuries and the road has now been re-opened, said police.
