Driver in critical condition after garage crash

A driver has been left in a critical condition in hospital after crashing her car into a garage.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was freed by firefighters and treated by paramedics after smashing her Kia Sportage into the building near Tame Bridge, between Stokesley and Hutton Rudby in North Yorkshire.
Police appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened just before 08:00 BST.
Officers asked for people to stay away from the garage, which suffered serious damage in the crash, but appealed for anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward.
