Woman arrested after man found with serious head injuries

A woman has been arrested after a man suffered a serious head injury in a Derbyshire village.
Police were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service at about 00:30 BST on Sunday to say the man, who is in his 20s, had been found in Station Road, Hatton.
The assault is believed to have happened between Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday, according to Derbyshire Police, who have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody.
The man was taken to hospital after the incident and remains there, the force added.
