Boy, 15, has life-threatening injuries after crash

A 15-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car.

At 18:00 GMT on Saturday, a silver Ford Fiesta was in collision with a pedestrian on New Street near to ATS Tyres in Andover, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said.

A 29-year old woman, from Andover, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs. She has been released under investigation.

Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact the force.
