A mother who ran a charity in her six-year-old daughter's memory after her murder "touched so many people's lives with her kindness and strength", her husband has said.
Nikki Flux-Edmonds set up Kezi's Kindness to raise money for children on the Isle of Wight after Keziah Flux-Edmonds was killed by her father in June 2016.
Ms Flux-Edmonds, from East Cowes, remarried earlier this year and her husband, Patrick Hedges, confirmed she died on Friday.
He said his wife had been his "Wise to my Morecambe, the June to my Terry" and that her death had left him with the "most unbearable pain".
A playground in Keziah's memory was first opened in 2018 with swings and a pirate ship, and was completed in February with a climbing frame and slide after further fundraising.
When Keziah was killed, her mother said she had been her "entire world" and that she earned the nickname Bumblebee because she was always smiling and busy.
When the playground was finished, opposite the Queensgate Primary School, Ms Flux-Edmonds said she was grateful for help in "bringing some well-needed smiles and simple joy to children".
In 2018, she said her community, which helped with financial contributions, was "amazing".
"I think if I had lived somewhere else, I wouldn't have been as successful," she continued.
"They are always on my side."
Mr Hedges said his wife had been given nine months to live in December 2023 but "fought and fought" and that her death had left him with "unbearable sadness".
"No more pain and finally reunited with your darling Keziah," he added on Kezi's Kindness Facebook page.
The playground is maintained by East Cowes Town Council.
Its deputy mayor, Cameron Palin, said Ms Flux-Edmonds was a "very brave, powerful and inspirational woman".
