Four fire engines have been called to a block of flats in Cornwall.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the blaze in Penzance at about 15:09 BST.

It said the flats in Pendennis Road were "well alight" and fire engines from Penzance, St Just and St Ives attended the scene.

The fire service said four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one covering jet were used.
