Woman airlifted to hospital after serious crash

The crash involved a pedestrian and a car, police said

A woman in her 70s has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Shropshire on Friday.
West Mercia Police said a serious collision happened on the A49 near the Upper Affcot junction at about 16:50 BST.
It was between a pedestrian and a white Hyundai car.
The force has urged anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
