Two BMW drivers seriously injured in Devon crash

Two BMW drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding on Friday, police have said.

The crash on Exeter Road in Okehampton took place at about about 11:20 GMT and involved a white BMW saloon and a silver BMW estate.

Police said both vehicles had been travelling together and had been seen at Sourton Services about 15 minutes before the incident.

Witnesses or those with dashcam footage have been asked to contact police.

Officers from the Roads Policing team thanked the public "for their patience during the road closures".

The road reopened at about 13:25 GMT on Saturday.
