Investigation after serious sexual assault in park

Police are investigating a serious sexual assault which took place in Cardiff's Splott Park during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers were called at around 03:25 BST after the female victim alerted a member of the public.
South Wales Police said the woman was receiving support from specialist police officers.
Part of the park was cordoned off while enquiries were carried out.
Det Insp Kath Barry urged anyone with more information to contact the police.
“If you were in the vicinity of Splott Park between the hours of 02:00 and 04:00 this morning and saw anyone in the area, or if you have any other information that could assist our investigation, please contact us quoting reference number 2400316906," she said.
