Five window salesmen deny defrauding customers

Five men working for a company that sold windows and doors in Bradford have denied defrauding their customers.

West Yorkshire Trading Standards is prosecuting the defendants, who all work for Just Glaze Windows and Doors Ltd.

They are charged with carrying on the business of a company with the intent to defraud creditors or for other fraudulent purpose.

All five pleaded not guilty to the charges at Bradford Crown Court on Friday and face a trial scheduled for 5 January 2026.

Between 1 January 2022 and 21 September 2023, the five men are alleged to have charged customers for the provision of goods and services that were not supplied or, if they were supplied, they were defective, substandard or not as advertised or contracted for.

The defendants are:

  • Nikolas Kiewra, 27, of Town End Road, Clayton, Bradford

  • Majid Shafiq, 49, of Longworth Avenue, Burnley

  • Faisal Bajwa, 34, of Priesthorpe Avenue, Stanningley, Pudsey

  • Kashif Raza, 44, of Northfield Crescent, Cottingley, Bingley

  • Iftikhar Ali, 38, of Low Lane, Clayton, Bradford

All five were released on bail.
