An 18-year-old man has been found dead in a Stirling University student accommodation building.
Police said they were called to the Alexander Court area of Bridge of Allan at about 14:20 on Friday following reports of a sudden death.
Officers said the teenager's death is being treated as unexplained and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A university spokeswoman said: "Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with family and friends at this difficult time.
"The university is liaising with the police and ensuring that students and staff are fully supported."
Alexander Court provides an on-campus accommodation for first year undergraduate students.
It is located on the north side of the Stirling University campus, near Sheriffmuir Road.
The building is around 0.6m (1.1km) from the main university campus.
