M1 reopens after multi-vehicle crash

Vehicle queues started to form on the M1 northbound on Wednesday morning

All lanes have reopened following a crash involving seven cars on the M1.
The crash happened on the northbound carriageway between junctions 23 and 23A in Loughborough, shortly after 09:00 GMT on Wednesday, National Highways said.
It caused congestion and delays of 60 minutes on approach.
Shortly before 10:30, National Highways said the vehicles involved in the crash had been removed and delays were "easing quickly".
