Woman, 25, dies following multi-vehicle crash

A woman has died following a multi-vehicle crash which closed a major road.

Jade Anthony, 25, from Buckingham, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision on the A303 near Amesbury, Wiltshire, and later died in hospital.

The collision, which involved five vehicles, happened on the eastbound carriageway just before 14:00 GMT on Sunday.

Two other people suffered minor injuries. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact police.

The A303 was closed in both directions near Deptford, in Wiltshire, but reopened on Monday.
