Woman charged after footballer loses leg in crash

A woman has been charged after a footballer lost a leg when he was hit by a car on a motorway hard shoulder.
Jordan Chiedozie was changing a tyre on the M27 near Ower in Hampshire on 1 February when the crash happened.
The former Bournemouth striker was returning home from Devon after playing for Hampshire-based Southern League club Bashley.
Anna Bogusiewicz, 45, of Wraysbury, Berkshire, is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 1 December charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink-driving.
