A crash involving four vehicles forced the partial closure of a major road in Warwickshire.

The collision happened on the A435 in Mappleborough Green, Warwickshire Police said.

The northbound carriageway closed from The Dog pub to the A4023 Coventry Highway, according to travel data company, Inrix.

The road was later re-opened. It is not clear whether there were any casualties, but the BBC has contacted police for details.
