Man has life-threatening injuries after tree crash

A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after crashing his car into a tree.

The driver, aged in his 30s, was in a silver Toyota Yaris on the B1150 North Walsham Road in Crostwick, near the White Horse pub, when it crashed at about 08:30 BST on Sunday.

He was being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

The road was closed until about 15:30 as emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended. Norfolk Police says the cause of the crash is unknown and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
