A mother and son have appeared in court on charges related to the death of a man in Lincolnshire.

The 41-year-old victim was pronounced dead inside a property in Algitha Road, Skegness, after police were called by an ambulance crew at 09:50 BST on Monday.

Sylwia Bukala, 42, of Algitha Road, has been charged with murder and Alberto Bukala, 21, of the same address, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

They did not enter pleas at Lincoln Crown Court, and they are due to reappear at the same court for their next hearing on 18 September.

The case has been listed for a trial beginning on 23 February.

Both defendants were remanded into custody.
