Five parish roads committees in Jersey have no female members, according to the States.

In a written answer, external to Deputy Montford Tadier, the Comité des Connétables said the administrative committees of St Clement, St Ouen, St Peter, St Saviour and Trinity were 100% male.

The committee said the parishes did not request the gender of those holding office so it was providing figures based on the titles and names as shown on each parish's website.

St Lawrence had the most female members of the 12 parishes, with two of five committee members being female, the figures showed.

The figures showed St Brelade, Grouville, St Martin and St Mary each had four male members and one female member.

St Helier had six male members and one female member, while St John had four male members and one female member.
