Murder arrest made after stabbing report

A 30-year-old suspect is in custody having been arrested on suspicion of murder

A murder investigation has been launched over the death of a man in his 50s.
Police were called to Chesterton Road in north Cambridge at about 01:00 GMT after receiving reports of a stabbing.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Det Insp Mark Butler said: "I understand this is likely to be concerning to the local community, but we believe it to be an isolated incident and we have extra patrols in the area."

A forensics team inspected the property, Chesterton Road, Cambridge earlier today
The man was pronounced dead at 01:18, Cambridgeshire Police said.
The force urged anyone who might have more information to come forward and help with inquiries.
