World darts champion Luke Littler has delighted young patients during a visit to Warrington Hospital, chatting and playing darts with them before handing out some early Christmas presents.

The 18-year-old, who hails from the Cheshire town, handed out magnetic dartboards, signed shirts and player cards.

He also posed for selfies and photos before throwing some darts with patients on the children's ward.

"Warrington is my home, and the support from people here means everything," said Littler. "If I can bring a tiny bit of happiness to families and patients going through tough times then it makes it all worthwhile."
