Teen arrested after school placed in lockdown
The secondary campus at Ebbw Fawr Learning Community was under "partial lockdown" after a pupil allegedly received threats

A school's partial lockdown after a pupil allegedly received threats and a teenage boy was arrested has now been lifted.
Police are attending the secondary campus at Ebbw Fawr Learning Community in Ebbw Vale after receiving a call at about 10:20 BST on Friday.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police confirmed a teenage boy had been arrested on suspicion of making threats.
The arrest did not take place on school premises and was not in Ebbw Vale.
Many parents have been arriving at the school to pick up their children after the lockdown was lifted.
Large numbers of pupils are being handed over to their parents one by one, as police remain outside the school.
Many have said they came straight to the school, although some said they were told that lessons would resume after lunch.
Parents had been notified of the situation after receiving text messages from the school earlier.
One of these texts, posted on social media, read: "All students are safe in classrooms and all doors and access points are locked.
"The police have arrived and there is no risk inside the building."
Pupil Kenzie-Jo, 12, said he and his classmates barricaded the doors with tables and chairs
One pupil, 12-year-old Kenzie-Jo, said the first he and his classmates knew about the lockdown was when an announcement came over the school's speaker system.
"We barricaded the doors with tables and chairs, covered the windows with bags and just stayed in the classroom with the lights off," he said.
Georgina Clatworthy, who has a son in Year 9, said she thought the school had handled things "very well".
"When I first heard about it I was really concerned but I think they acted really quickly," she said.
Gwent Police said inquiries were ongoing.
It comes two days after two teachers and pupil were stabbed at a school in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.
