The Jim Clark Rally was back in action on closed roads in the Scottish Borders at the weekend.

The event was based in Duns which hosted its start and finish ceremonies as well as live action on big screens.

A top-class entry of 270 cars took part in the rally across the weekend.

Four-time British Rally Champion Keith Cronin emerged as the winner over Junior World Rally Champion William Creighton.

There was cause for local celebration as Borders rally driver Euan Thorburn delighted crowds by finishing third in the main Jim Clark Rally on Saturday.

He then beat reigning Scottish Champion David Henderson in a stunning last stage to win the Reivers Rally on Sunday.
