A large cannabis farm has uncovered by police right in a town centre.

About 1,300 cannabis plants were discovered growing in an abandoned building off Market Street, Longton on Wednesday.

The plants have been recovered and will be destroyed, said Staffordshire Police, as they confirmed no arrests have yet been made following the find.
