Fifth person charged over death of 22-year-old man

A fifth person has been charged in connection with the death of a 22-year-old man.
Liam Woolford, from Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, died after an incident on Poets Close, Rhydyfelin, in the early hours of 23 September.
Zoe Peters, 36, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd has been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to wound another and will appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Four men have previously been charged in connection with the incident and are expected to stand trial in March 2026. They remain in custody until their next court appearance on 31 October.
Det Insp Rebecca Merchant said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of Liam Woolford at this difficult time.
"I would like to thank the community of Rhydfelin for their continued support during this ongoing investigation and would urge anyone with relevant information who hasn't yet come forward to do so."
