Three dogs have been rescued from a house blaze in Burgess Hill, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) said.

The service said it was called just after 09:00 GMT on Sunday and four fire engines attended the scene in Middle Way.

WSFRS administered oxygen to one of the dogs that was saved from the fire.

All the fire engines had left the scene by midday, WSFRS added.
