Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets of Leicester for a traditional Sikh procession between two of the city's best-known temples.
Nagar Kirtan is due to be held on Sunday, with Leicester City Council expecting thousands of Sikhs to participate in the walk.
It will begin at Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara in East Park Road at about 11:30 GMT, and make its way across the city to Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Holy Bones.
The procession is expected to reach its final destination at about 15:00, with rolling road closures in place along the route to make sure those taking part are safe.
The route will include the following streets:
St Peter's Road
Sparkenhoe Street
East Park Road
Swain Street
St George's Way
Charles Street
Humberstone Gate
Clock Tower
East Gates
High Street
St Nicholas Place
St Nicholas Circle
Holy Bones
Some bus services will also need to follow alternative routes for a short time during the procession, the city council said.
There will also be some parking restrictions in streets near East Park Road, including parts of Leicester Street, Rosebery Street and Nottingham Street.
Drivers will be warned of these restrictions with information signs, which will be placed on main routes into the city, the authority added.
