An Eastbourne building has been crashed into by a car for the second time in just months.

Emergency services were called at 15.50 GMT on Saturday after a black Toyota SUV crashed nose on Tideswell Road, opposite The Beacon shopping centre car park.

Fire officers gave first aid to a patient who was in the car but no-one was taken to hospital, said South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

The car appears to have hit hoardings on the building put in place after a similar crash on 28 August 2024.

SECAmb said they left the scene 17.50.

Ground floor residents in the same building told BBC South East in August 2024 how they were watching TV when a car "shunted" them.

The pair sustained "minor injuries", Sussex Police said at the time.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue and Sussex Police have been contacted for further information.
