Road closures in place for Grimsby 10k

Road closures will be in place on Sunday for the Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k.
Around 2,500 runners are expected to take part.
The race starts at 09:00 BST at Grimsby Town Hall, heading along Scartho Road, Louth Road, and Peaks Parkway, before turning onto Welholme Road to finish in People’s Park.
The 10k is described by North East Lincolnshire Council as one of the biggest sporting events for the area.
Road closure times
Race route will be closed from 8:00 BST
Race route up to 2km will be open from 09:40 BST
Race route up to 6km will be open from 10:00 BST
All roads to be open by 11:45 BST

Advance warning signs, external have been in place along the route since early-May.
Race directors Neil and Nicola Pattison said: “As always, we would like to thank everyone for their patience while various road closures are in place to keep our runners safe.
"You must not drive onto the race route as you will potentially be putting the runners, volunteers, of which many children will be helping out, as well as yourself at risk.”
