Care home applies to build 42 new units

The units will be sheltered housing for people aged 55 and over

A nursing home in Jersey has put an application forward to build 42 new units in its grounds.
St Joseph's on St John's Road in St Helier has proposed to demolish an existing garage near the property.
In its place, plans have been put forward to build an electrical substation north-east of the site as part of the development.
Units, mainly one-bed, with four two-beds, would be sheltered housing for people aged 55 and over, the proposals said, external.
The planning application is being advertised until 18 March.
