Three police officers and a woman have been injured in a crash involving a police van and car in Harrogate.

The woman was driving a black Ford Fiesta when it collided with the marked North Yorkshire Police vehicle on Beckwith Road and flipped on to its roof just after 17:30 BST on Tuesday.

The woman was taken to hospital with injuries to her arm while the officers were treated for minor injuries, the force said.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened near the junction with Otley Road, to get in touch.
